Pregnancy: Avoid use due to abortifacient effects.
• Antiepitileptic drugs • the neurotoxin thujone present in cedar may reduce the efficacy of medications used to prevent seizures including: lamotrigine, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, primidone, valproic acid, gabapentin, phenytoin.
