• Cyanogenic Glycosides (E.g. Prunasin) • Bark

• Volatile Oils
• Tincture (1:5 in 40% EtOH): 1 ml tid
High doses: Avoid use.
Long-term use: Avoid use.
Toxicity: Cyanide poisoning due to the presence of cyanogenic glycosides. Symptoms include fatigue, drowsiness, diarrhea, nausea, convulsions, paralysis, death.
