• Cardiac Glycosides (Asclepidine, Asclepione)
• Tannins
• Tincture (1:10 in 45% EtOH): 1-5 ml tid
• Liquid extract (1:1 in 45% EtOH): 1-4 ml tid
Contraindications: Pregnancy and lactation (due to presence of cardiac glycosides; uterine stimulant).
• Cardiac glycosides • will potentiate the effects of digitalis and other cardiac glycosides.
